- MY NAME IS JOSSY VARKEY {ചാത്തങ്കേരില്‍ - അതാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടുപേര്. എന്റെ അപ്പച്ചന്റെ അപ്പന്‍ ശ്രീ. പൌലോയ്ക്ക് രണ്ടു സഹോദരന്മാരാണ്. (വര്‍ക്കി,ജോണ്‍) ഈ മൂന്നുപേരും 'ചാത്തങ്കേരില്‍' എന്ന വീടുപെരിലാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഈ പേരു എങ്ങിനെ കിട്ടി എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ പലവട്ടം ആലോചിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്കൂളില്‍ പഠിക്കിമ്പോള്‍ 'ചാത്തന്‍' എന്ന വിളി ദുസ്സഹമായിരുന്നു. കുട്ടിച്ചാത്തന്‍, കൊച്ചു ചാത്തന്‍ എന്നൊക്കെ നാട്ടുകാരും കൂട്ടുകാരും സ്നേഹത്തോടെ വിളിച്ചിരുന്നു. അങ്ങിനെ തുടങ്ങിയതാണ്‌ ഈ പേരിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള അന്വേഷണം. തിരുവല്ലയ്ക്കടുത്ത് 'ചാത്തന്കേരി/ചാത്തങ്കരി' എന്ന് പേരുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലം ഉണ്ടെന്നറിഞ്ഞു!! ഒരു പക്ഷെ എന്റെ പൂര്‍വികര്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും അവിടെ നിന്നും കുടിയെരിയവരാകാം??} എന്റെ വ്യക്തി വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്: http://jossyvarkey.tripod.com/id1.html
We are loosing our credibility by such Wolf cry, not only PJ Joseph (he is a nut loose everyone knows) but earlier minister Premachandran was more adamant about this. Facebook people also made worse this using fake pictures and powerpoints and adobe photoshop works, Tamilnad maiantained their calm, and argued well, they also maintained dam well.
ReplyDeleteNow even if the dam is damaged in future say in 2 years our credibility is lost. Cheap politics and irresponsible media/channels are making life hell in this state.
